Some tips….

Hi, I’ve noticed some complaints recently of people having their tumblr’s deleted.

1. Many tumblrs get deleted obviously for child porn that’s totally  understandable! But also for pushing the boundaries into the grey area “is it child porn or is it just art?” and that’s where things get risky if tumblr catches wind of it. I can guarantee you Tumblr will never consider the grey stuff art they will just hit the nuke button just to cover their own ass.
2. Also, though a little boy in a speedo at a beach would be an innocent photo & not at all child porn and usually would never warrant ones blog getting deleted…. some idiot could reblog that innocent photo and make very sexual comments turning the photo into something it’s not & the breadcrumb trail “could” lead back to you and they “may” nuke all the blogs along that breadcrumb trail in the process.
3. Finally another big reason tumblr’s get nuked is simple… the “guilty by association” reason. Don’t follow someone who posts child porn or any illegal content! Though you may never post anything that would give reason to have your tumblr deleted the people you follow may. If you follow people that post content that goes against tumblr’s TOS and they get their blogs deleted sometimes their followers go down with them depending on the severity of the content because you chose to follow someone you know was clearly breaking the rules or law. Worse yet if you clicked the like button on any of that content you are almost guaranteeing yourself to get taken down when they start the nuke process!

It’s simple,

• Don’t post child porn or anything that goes against the TOS such as bestiality, mutilation, self harm, promotion of violence or hate etc.
• Don’t post “grey area content” in other words don’t push the boundaries.
• Don’t follow people who post this content.
• Don’t click the like button on any such content.
• Don’t ask sexual questions of minors.
• Do remove anything from your blog ASAP if you get a request to take it down from the owner of that content. (Try to always post stuff with permission and with proper credit to the owner or a link to where you found it)
• Do flag your blog as NSFW if you plan on posting any adult content via your blog settings!
• DO BE SMART, use your head, have fun & keep tumblr safe for all!

Finally remember that we are all guests on their service. We are using this awesome service for free. Tumblr does not owe us anything, so lose your sense of entitlement. They have the right to delete anyone that infringes on any of their clearly laid out rules to protect their own asses. So don’t be stupid and don’t come back with a new blog later and bitch about it, it was your own actions that caused it!

What is with all these follow me and I will promo you scams lately!? Over the years on tumblr I seen a few here & there but I always ignored them, lately my dash is flooded with them!

Out of curiosity I recently tried a few of them, I followed everyone I was supposed to but NOTHING HAPPENED I wasn’t promo’d & I certainly didn’t get a flood of new followers as promised!!!

I hope this trend *cough scam* dies down real soon and we can get back to pretty things on our dashboards!

I can appreciate the beauty of youth (clothed) but seeing “child porn” on tumblr is just unacceptable… your tumblr has been reported! Exploitation of children is just wrong and you gotta be pretty fucking stupid to post that shit on a popular & public site like this, I hope the cops will be knocking on your door real soon! Wow just wow….

WOW I just get home from work, open Tumblr and see that I have exactly 1000 followers now! This is so awesome THANKS EVERYONE!!! I’m happy that you all find what I post to be of interest! :D

I have gotten so many new followers in the last few days I have not had a chance to look at all of your tumblr’s yet so as I go through the list expect me to follow some or most of you back! :)

WOW I’m so happy that in the last 2 days alone I have gotten 30 new followers, thats just amazing to me and has me all giddy!!! I’m now 30 followers away from the 1000 milestone!
